Rules of the community

1. This is a history community

   We are all history enthusiasts. Maintain historical accuracy and credibility. Refrain from sharing unverified, uncorroborated, or anecdotal statements.

2. Keep posts on topic.

   Only posts directly relevant to history are accepted. Avoid sharing anything unrelated or off-topic.

3. No hate speech or discrimination

   Anti-Semitic remarks and any form of discrimination are strictly prohibited. Respect all members and avoid harmful stereotypes or biases.

4. Mandatory use of trustworthy sources upon request

   Sharing references with your posts is optional, but providing one upon request is mandatory.

5. Do not "quote tweet" your comments to the community.

   Use "reply" to to comment under a post. Do not use "quote tweet" to comment on posts shared by others (except when necessary, e.g. follow-up questions).

6. No misleading, inaccurate, or clickbait contents allowed.

   Be sure to add accurate descriptions of links that you post (especially when the URL title is misleading/clickbaity).

7. Respect different viewpoints

   Recognize that historical interpretations can vary, and be open to discussing different perspectives.

8. No spam, ads, or self-promotion.

   Add value to the community. Do not share to promote yourself or your products.

9. Individual Post Limit: 3 posts/day.

   Do not post more than 3 times a day (unless exceptional quality/urgency/importance).

10. Be civil, humble, and kind.

    Engage in respectful and clear communication. Avoid tension, escalation, harassment, cynicism, fanaticism, and gossip in discussions about history.
